Peace Week

Peace Week 2020

Peace Week Delaware is an annual celebration of peace-loving people around Delaware. It features a statewide series of events and actions raising awareness and hope for peace in our communities, nation, and world.

In 2020, St. Stephen's is co-hosting "A Climate of Peace" virtual event on October 5, 5:30 pm.

St. Stephen's has participated in Peace Week events for four years, hosting "Coffee for Peace" with music, food trucks, and conversations from presenters such as Twin Poets and Sarah McBride.

As a Reconciling in Christ congregation of the ELCA, we believe that the gospel is God's gift to all people, shared unconditionally and without regard to race, gender identity, sexual orientation, socio-economic or family status, age, physical or mental abilities, outward appearance, or religious affiliation. We seek to live the truth written in Ephesians that Christ breaks down the dividing walls between us and makes us one.
